It seems that the money-stealing spammers have become lazy with their story and have tired of actually customizing their messages to people. Notice that they have no mention of the need to get me millions of dollars from someone with a similar name. Heck – it looks like they just invested in a bulk email list and are asking for money.

In honor of my fifteen score post i added my nifty holiday script back onto the site. As soon as i have the full year of silly and serious holidays added in i will make the script available here.

This should be my 300th post. I was gone all this past week in Seattle… Expect the normal silliness to resume. But for now i have much email and web reading to do…

I made a new button to recognize Haloscan as the service i use for commenting. This one matches the new Blogger button used in their templates.

I used an image for the American Sign Language character for “Y” and a nifty font to design a new line of products. My Hang Loose collection includes a pair of boxer shorts!

I thought of a product today… a light switch that will receive an infrared signal from a remote. So i could sit down to watch a movie, get all settled and then point my remote at the light switch and turn off the lights. When done i don’t have to stumble over the cats to be able to see – just a click of a universal remote and the lights could be on. Well, fortunately this exists – and it’s only $30.

I have had quite a few other ideas that i’m glad are commercially available so i don’t need to create them. Another was a constellation system for a ceiling using LED or fibre optics to light the stars. This is availble too.

For $30 i’ll some day just buy a few of the IR controlled light switches. But some day i’ll install a constellation system of my own – hopefully for a bit less than the ones i found online tonight.

I need to keep up with my shirt designs. I just logged into my CafePress account and saw that i’m up to 4 orders on my Mr. Yuk site bringing in an amazing $11.06 into my pocket. Combining my other CafePress shops gives me $19.63! Sure, i won’t be paying down my student loan with this revenue – but it is just enough of a kick in the pants to make me design some more. I thought of a good one tonight…

…here it is.

In light of the flurry of comments on my page i re-enabled my counter so i can see the traffic. March-May this site averaged a little over 1,000 hits. Sadly most of those were from me using it as my startpage and refreshing the browser as i made site changes. Now my start page is Mitkof.org – my online forum for Petersburg, Alaska so maybe the count won’t be quite so high…
