My site was down for a while – circumstances out of my control. But things seem to be back up and running and now i have a week of my life to catch you up on…

This week’s Photo Friday theme is “Junk” and I just happen to love to photograph junk. This is from a piece of machinery in an industrial graveyard just a few hundred feet from my house. Fortunately i can’t see it from the house though.

I just played a game of electronic hand-held Yahtzee and scored 463 including three Yahtzees. Sadly, that was not enough to beat Amy’s high score of 611 on the toy. Dang.

Klas sent more of the pictures he took during last Thursday’s fire drill. One of his pictures from that day was on the front page of the Petersburg Pilot this week (in color too). It should be on the Petersburg Pilot site by Monday.

Back when i was sick i noticed on the label of the applesauce that i was drinking in the shower (once again – yes, drinking applesauce) that it said “PETE Please Recycle” and it stuck me as funny. I know that PETE is a type of plastic along with HDPE. But the placing of the acronym just seemed to be off. Hence my entry for this week’s Theme Thursday – “Oops”.

A crustache is often seen on young men shortly after puberty. It tends to be a very sparse attempt at a mustache.

On Thursday for our weekly fire drill we burned a shed at the landfill. Klas Stolpe was there taking pictures for the Pilot. That’s me looking all grumpy.
