I rebuilt the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department discussion forum. I also started one up for the Alaska Recreation and Park Association. I own the domain www.mitkof.org and have been thinking of starting a forum for Petersburg there along with a specialized classified area for real estate and another for autos. Perhaps links to Petersburg business sites… who knows. With mitkof.net in a limbo state and no other hub for Petersburg online activity i’m thinking i should act soon.

hey. get a portal up soon. cant imagine the mitkof.net site being around much longer at all. i cant find any place to put my server that i can really afford so i guess i cant do it.

http://www.mitkof.org has something there - a portal i’ll try out. i’ll fiddle with it in the evenings and weekends in between paid projects. for a little while until i am ready for a launch.

hey dude
make sure all the links from the mitkof.net site are there and layed out well. one of the things people liked about my mikof.net is that all the local information was there and that its all easy to find. that and its fast to load…even now that the crappy server is in california. i have some more links for the local stuff that i’ll compile into an email and send you. also…do something like the “local pictures.” that was a really big thing. again, i have more idea’s. i’ll email them to you.
