I had written about spirit week and my feelings about it. Well here is evidence that while i may have never gone to a single sporting event in all of high school i was always up to wearing odd clothing to school.

On the left we have me in May of 1992 on “Plaid Day” as declared by the students. I’m wearing a flannel long sleeve shirt and shorts, plaid bowtie and cumberbund, and flannel boxers (not pictured). The weather was sunny and warm that day.
On the right Mike Vanelzakker and i are wearing bedsheets as togas. I recall using a pin featuring a treefrog to secure the outfit. On my feet i was wearing the same sandals as pictured in the image to the left.

Honey, even with such damning evidence before me, I still think you’re cute.

High School meaning grades 10 to 12? (Track was 9th grade, right?)

I was only in track in 7th grade. We just had practice on the 9th grade track because JP didn’t have one.

Hmm, I don’t remember having a Plaid Day or Toga day in high school. I think you made them up!
