I added a little greeting for folks that leave comments on occasion. My site checks your IP address and then loads the greeting i wrote for you. There are not any cookies involved or anything. Some errors are likely – shared IP addresses on a network primarily. So nobody else will see the message above unless they use the same computer.

G.I. Joe on DVD

A huge thank you to Heather for the G.I. Joe dvd. That’s right – she gave me the Joe movie which includes many of the original psa clips from the end of the episodes. Now i can get rid of my vhs version. (Which Heather also gave me.) If you have not seen the parodies you really should.

I rebuilt the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department discussion forum. I also started one up for the Alaska Recreation and Park Association. I own the domain www.mitkof.org and have been thinking of starting a forum for Petersburg there along with a specialized classified area for real estate and another for autos. Perhaps links to Petersburg business sites… who knows. With mitkof.net in a limbo state and no other hub for Petersburg online activity i’m thinking i should act soon.

This is a reproduction of a toy i bought at the Salvation Army a few weeks ago. I think that the voice saying “brown diamond” and “pink triangle” are quite funny to my fifth-grader mentality. I don’t have Flash installed on this computer so this was the best i could do using image hotspots and .wav files. If i convert them to .mp3 the sounds will load faster the first time (after the first time for each color/shape they will load much faster.

Hundra (Color/104 minutes/1983) Starring: Laurene Landon John Ghaffari and Romiro Oliveros. “It was a time of darkness. It was a savage age when men were the masters. And women were the slaves. But from the darkness of oppression there arose a valiant tribe of women who dared to be free. Their leader was fearless and invincible. Her prowess was legend. Her beauty unequaled. Her name was HUNDRA. But it came to pass that a thundering horde of barbarian men descended upon Hundra’s rebellious camp. And in an orgy of flashing steel, all were slain. All but Hundra. And so it was that Hundra set out to seek vengeance upon all men. Until she encountered the one force that could stop her. The love of a woman for a man!”

This movie was good (and you know when i say “good” i mean “bad”) but not The Adventures of Rollerblade 7 good. If you want to see it Amy and i have decided to circulate the VHS tape (sorry folks, this one probably won’t be available on DVD very soon) as long as people attach a review to the box. Amy loaned it to Ron who wrote “What a joke… fast forward through the entire tape – you’ll get just as much out of it and will only waste 15 minutes of your time!” Now i don’t want to spoil the movie for you – but there are sections that you could watch in fast forward and only miss out on the soundtrack which goes something like this “dum, dum dum, dun dun, dun dun…” for – oh – 104 minutes.
