So there i was, minding my own business at the fire dinner and meeting tonight. I had no idea i would receive the Fire Department’s medal for bravery at the meeting (along with quite a few others). Two different incidents. One, a year ago, where we lost two young people in a submerged overturned car, and the other where we battled a blaze above the Harbor bar. Thanks to Chief Bunge and anyone else that had the idea to recognize us.

hey that is great Zieak. I am ver happy to see the Fire Department start awarding folks with recognition they deserve. And i know personally that you are a great asset to the department and the commuity as a whole. again well done. you certainly deserve it!
